Case 8: Physical Exam

Vital Signs: Temperature 98°F, Blood Pressure 140/90 mmHg, Heart Rate 98 beats/min, Respiratory Rate 16 breaths/min, Oxygen Saturation 100% on room air, Body Mass Index 24 kg/m2
General Appearance:  Uncomfortable appearing, salivating into an emesis bag
stethoscope-1HEENT: No conjunctival pallor, no scleral icterus, moist mucous membranes, clear oropharynx
Lymph
: No lymphadenopathy
Cardiovascular: Regular rate, regular rhythm, no JVD, no murmurs, rubs, or gallops
Pulmonary: Non-labored breathing, no wheezes or rhonchi
Abdominal: Soft, nontender,  nondistended, normoactive bowel sounds, no hepatosplenomegaly
Extremities: Warm, well perfused, no pedal edema
Neurologic: Alert and oriented to place, person, and time, no focal neurological deficits
Skin: Warm, dry
